Ingredients for Asparagus with Prosciutto and Pine Nuts

  • ¼ cup of butter
  • 3 ounces of chopped thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • ½ cup of pine nuts
  • ⅓ cup of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 pounds of fresh trimmed asparagus
  • Salt and pepper as per your taste

How to Make Asparagus with Prosciutto and Pine Nuts

  • First melt butter in a skillet over the medium heat; cook & stir the prosciutto, pine nuts, and garlic in the melted butter until the garlic is fragrant & nuts begin to turn brown in color, about 2-3 minutes. And then stir in the lemon juice.
  • Now bring a pot filled with the lightly salted water to boil. And then gently boil the asparagus until the color become bright green & barely tender, about 2-3 minutes; drain.
  • After that add the asparagus to the prosciutto mixture & toss to mix them evenly. Season them with salt and pepper; and serve it hot.
