Ingredients for making Basic Crepes

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • ½ cup of water
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt

How to Make Basic Crepes

  1. First of all, in a large mixing bowl, whisk the flour and the eggs onion. Gradually add in water and milk, stirring to combine. Add salt and butter; beat it until it becomes smooth.
  2. Now heat the lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over the medium high heat flame. Pour or scoop batter onto griddle, using approximately 1/4th cup for each of crepe. Tilt pan with the circular motion so that batter coats surface evenly.
  3. In the end, cook the crepe for about 2-3 minutes, until the bottom is light brown in color. Loosen with the spatula, turn & cook the other side. Serve it hot.
