  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup ground flax seed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup applesauce
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups grated zucchini, or more to taste
  • ½ cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

How to Make Better Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread

  1. First of all, preheat oven to the 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). And then grease two 8×4-inches of loaf pans.
  2. Whisk the flour, flax, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together in the large bowl. Beat the vegetable oil, white sugar, applesauce, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla extract all together in the another bowl.
  3. Now stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture until the batter is well-mixed. Fold the zucchini and chocolate chips into the batter; pour the batter into already prepared loaf pans.
  4. In the end, bake into the preheated oven until the knife inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean properly, for about 50-60 minutes. Let it cool down in the pans for about 10-15 minutes before removing the loaves from pans.
