Chorizo Breakfast Burritos

Ingredients for Making Black Bean Burritos

  • 2 (10 inch) of chopped flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped vegetable oil
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • ½ chopped of red bell pepper
  • One teaspoon of chopped minced garlic
  • 1 (15 ounce) can of chopped lack beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped minced jalapeno peppers
  • 3 ounces of chopped cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon of chopped salt
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped chopped fresh cilantro

How to Make Black Bean Burritos

  1. First of all, wrap the tortillas in foil and place in oven heated to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake for 15-17 minutes or until it heated through.
  2. Now heat oil in a 10-inch skillet over the medium heat. Place bell pepper, onion, garlic and jalapenos in skillet, cook for 2-3 minutes stirring occasionally. Pour the beans into skillet; cook 2-3 minutes stirring.
  3. And then cut the cream cheese into the cubes and add to skillet with the salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes and stirring occasionally. Stir cilantro into the mixture.
  4. In the end, spoon mixture evenly down center of the warmed tortilla and roll tortillas up. Serve it immediately.
