Chicken Noodle Casserole

A vert delicious creamy chicken and noodle casserole topped with the crushed crackers. Wonderful as leftovers topped with the melted cheese! Ummmaahhh I am sure you gonna love this casserole.

Ingredients for making Chicken Noodle Casserole

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can of condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 6 ounces of egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup of crumbled buttery round crackers
  • ½ cup of butter
  • Salt as per your taste
  • Ground black pepper as per your taste

How to Make Chicken Noodle Casserole

  1. First of all poach chicken in the large pot of simmering water. Cook it until no longer pink color in center, about 10-12 minutes. And then remove from the pot and set aside. Bring the chicken cooking water to a boil & cook pasta in it. Drain and cut the chicken into small pieces, and mix with the noodles.
  2. Now in a separate bowl, mix together chicken soup, mushroom soup, and sour cream. Season with the salt and pepper. Gently stir it together cream soup mixture with the mixture of chicken. Place in a 2 quart of baking dish.
  3. And then melt butter in the small saucepan, and remove from the heat. Stir it in crumbled crackers. Top the casserole with the buttery crackers.
  4. In the end, bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 30-35 minutes, until the heated through and browned color on top.
