  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of margarine
  • ½ cup of milk

How to Make Dumplings

  1. First of all stir together baking powder, flour, sugar, and salt in a medium size bowl. And then cut in butter until crumbly. Then stir in milk to make the dough soft.
  2. After that drop by spoonfuls into boiling stew. Cover and simmer 14-15 minutes without lifting lid and then serve.
  3. To make the parsley dumpling, add 1 tablespoon of parsley flakes into the dry ingredients.
