These wet burritos are very easy to make very good in taste. I got this recipe from one of my friend, and whom I ever served asks for the recipe. Serve with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.

Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients for Making Fabulous Wet Burritos

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • ½ cup of chopped onion
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon of cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • (4.5 ounce) can of diced green chile peppers
  • ⅛ teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 (16 ounce) can of refried beans
  • One (15 ounce) can of chili without beans
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can of condensed tomato soup
  • 1 (10 ounce) can of enchilada sauce
  • 6 (12 inch) warmed flour tortillas
  • 2 cups of shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup of chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cups of shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • ½ cup of chopped green onions

How to Make Fabulous Wet Burritos

  1. First of all, crumble the ground beef into a skillet over medium-high flame heat. Cook and stir it until evenly browned in color. Add onion, and cook until it translucent. Drain grease, and season with the cumin, garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. And then stir in the green chilies and refried beans until it well blended. Turn off the heat, but keep it warm.
  3. Now in a saucepan, combine the chili without beans, enchilada sauce and tomato soup. Mix the well, and cook over the medium heat until heated through. Turn off the heat and keep it warm.
  4. After that place a warmed tortilla on a plate, and spoon a generous 1/2 cup of ground beef mixture onto the center. And then top with lettuce and tomato as per your liking. Roll up the tortilla over the filling.
  5. In the end, spoon a generous amount of the sauce over the top, and sprinkle with the cheese and green onions. And then heat in the microwave for 25-30 seconds, or until the cheese is melted. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
