Glazed Margarita Cake Recipe

Friends, believe me, this glazed margarita cake is really amazing cake; it is like having margarita on the plate. Sweet cake with margarita mixed in will make this cake on another level.
Ingredients for Glazed Margarita Cake
- 1-1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2-1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of softened butter or margarine
- 1-1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 3-4 eggs.
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup of orange juice concentrate
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of canola oil
- 2 tablespoons of triple sec liqueur
- 1/4 cup of tequila
Ingredients for Glaze
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of tequila
- 1 tablespoon of triple sec liqueur
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
Directions for Glazed Margarita Cake
- Preheat oven to the 350 F.
- Grease and flour a Bundt pan or tube.
- Now in a large bowl, mix butter and sugar until it become creamy.
- Add eggs, orange juice concentrate, oil, water, tequila, vanilla, and triple sec. Mix them well.
- Now in a separate bowl, mix baking powder, flour, and baking soda.
- After that slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring as you go. Beat them until there are no lumps left in the batter.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake it in 350 F ovens for 45 to 50 minutes.
- And then cool in the pan for about 10-12 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack.
How to Make Glazed Margarita Cake
- Mix the powdered sugar with the triple sec, tequila, and lime juice.
- Stir them until it become creamy smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze ingredients over the cake.
