  • 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 3 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
  • 1 ½ pounds of trimmed fresh asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds

How to Make Grilled Soy Sesame Asparagus

  1. Preheat grill on high heat.
  2. Now in a bowl, mix the soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and brown sugar (jaggery). Place the asparagus in the bowl, and toss to coat.
  3. After that lightly oil a fine-mesh grill grate. Now place asparagus on grate, and cook for 8-10 minutes, until it tender but firm. And then garnish it with sesame seeds to serve.
