Ground Beef Casserole

Ingredients for Hamburger Potato Casserole

  • 1 pound of lean ground beef
  • 3 cups of peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup of chopped onion
  • ¾ cup of milk
  • Salt as per your taste
  • Freshly ground pepper as per your taste
  • 1 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese

How to Make Hamburger Potato Casserole

  1. First of all, preheat oven to the 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Now in a medium skillet over the medium heat flame, brown the ground beef and then drain fat.
  3. After that, in a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper as per your taste.
  4. In the end, alternately layer the potatoes, soup mixture and meat in the 11×7 inches (2 quart) baking dish. And then bake in the preheated oven for 1-1 1/2 hours, or until the potatoes are tender. Top with the Cheddar cheese, and continue baking until cheese is melted.
