Ingredients for Oven Roasted Asparagus
- 1 bunch of thin trimmed asparagus spears
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 ½ tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
- One clove of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
How to Make Oven Roasted Asparagus
- Preheat oven to the 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Place the asparagus into the mixing bowl, and drizzle it with the olive oil. And then toss to coat the spears, and then sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic, and pepper. Now arrange the asparagus onto a baking sheet into a single layer.
- After that bake in the preheated oven until just it tender, 12-15 minutes depending on its thickness. Now sprinkle it with lemon juice just before serving it.
To remove the woody ends of asparagus, grab the stalk of asparagus at either end and bend them until it snaps. It will naturally snap itself where it starts to get tough.
