Ingredients for Pesto Pasta with Chicken

  • 1 (16 ounce) package of bow tie pasta
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 cut into bite-size pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Crushed red pepper flakes as per your taste
  • ⅓ cup of oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and cut into the strips
  • ½ cup of pesto sauce

Directions for making Pesto Pasta with Chicken

  • First of all, bring a large pot of the lightly salted water to the boil. Add the pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente; and then drain.
  • After that, heat oil in the large skillet over the medium heat. Saute the garlic until it tender, then stir in the chicken. Season with the red pepper flakes. Cook until the chicken is golden in color, and cooked through.
  • Now, in a large bowl, combine the pasta, chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and pesto. Toss to coat it evenly.
