Ingredients for Pesto Pasta

  • ½ cup of chopped onion
  • 2 ½ tablespoons of pesto
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (16 ounce) package of pasta
  • Salt as per your taste
  • Ground black pepper as per your taste

Directions for making Pesto Pasta

  1. First of all, cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water until it done. And then drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in the frying pan over the medium low heat. Add the pesto, onion, and salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the onions are soft.
  3. Now in a large bowl, mix the pesto mixture into pasta. Stir in the grated cheese and serve.
