Hello friends, welcome to Smooth Recipe. Today we are going to make Rolled Dumplings.

Rolled Dumplings are great addition to any dish like broth, vegetable or noodle soup. Friends, without saying anything more let’s start making it.

Ingredients for Rolled Dumplings

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ⅓ cup of shortening
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans of chicken broth

How to Make Rolled Dumplings

  1. First of all, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in the shortening and add milk to make the stiff dough.
  2. Now roll out to about 1/8 inch of thickness and cut them into 1 inch squares, 1 to 1 1/2 inch of strips or in diamonds shape. Sprinkle lightly with the flour and drop into the boiling chicken stock. Cover it tightly and boil gently for 8-10 minutes.
